NDLEA intercepts drugs worth N3.4bn, arrests fake cop and mechanic

• The agency said it seized more than 1.3 million tramadol and opioid pills and about 6,000kg of cannabis in separate operations.

• The shipment reportedly arrived from Montreal on September 12 and was placed under surveillance before a joint examination on September 16.
• In Delta State, NDLEA said it arrested Innocent Ekpe, who allegedly used a forged police ID and the name Godwin Emeka while transporting 292.48kg of skunk.
• In Edo State, operatives said they arrested Matthew Ossai at an auto-repair workshop where they recovered 48kg of Canadian Loud and 152g of methamphetamine.
